Megan Bugarin

Counselor in Training

About Me

Hi! My name is Megan, and I’m an intern working towards a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. So far, I have supported clients in both individual and group counseling settings navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and past trauma.

Prior to beginning my master’s program, I graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Social Work. Professionally, I have worked in supportive roles for various populations, including refugee foster care youth and young adults, families navigating the college planning process, college students, new parents, children with autism and their families, children’s ministry volunteers, and adults experiencing homelessness. I have also received training and experience in providing support through a relational and trauma-informed lens.

I believe it is a gift to be alive, living in the present moment, and enjoying relationships with one another. But life can also be really heavy, confusing, and lonely. I desire to build trusting, supportive relationships with my clients because I believe people need safe spaces to share their unique story, process how it impacts them, and create opportunities to live a more free and fulfilling life. I would love the opportunity to meet you and walk with you as you journey through life’s struggles, pain, growth, and healing.

Thanks!
